Deb Mulhern

Deb follows up with our worship visitors, coordinates and co-leads Newcomer Classes with Pastor Jenny, works to help new members become connected in the life of the church, coordinates and trains our worship ushers, greeters, welcome center hosts and fellowship time teams. She also co-leads confirmation with Pastor Jenny. Deb is the staff liaison for the Outreach Team, the Mental Wellness Team, the Scholarship Team and the Greenspace Committee and coordinates the Live Nativity. Deb originally joined SPUMC in 1976 when her father, Bert Lohr, was the pastor. She came on staff in 1998 as the LOGOS Director and then became the Director of Connecting Ministries in 2015.

She and her husband Rick live in Cottage Grove with Chocolate Lab, Sadie.
