You are invited to join our Leadership Board and Reconciling Team on Saturday, January 27 from 10 am to 3 pm in a workshop focused on our 2024 Ministry Plan, which has the theme of Beyond Our Doors. Lunch will be provided. We will learn what it might mean for us to reach beyond the doors of our church more than we already do, into our communities and the world. We will talk about what the relevant issues are in our Sun Prairie community and how we as a church might partner with others to meet needs and love our neighbors. We will also talk about what diversity looks like for SPUMC and what we can do to learn and educate ourselves about issues that people face in Sun Prairie.
The Rev. Dr. Grace Cajiuat will lead us through the day. Grace currently serves as the pastor at Wesley UMC in Kenosha. She brings more than 40 years of teaching
and ministry experience to her work. She is an internationally recognized musician, minister, teacher and interculturalist. Grace received her Masters of Divinity and Masters in Sacred Theology from Boston University. She brings her own intercultural experiences to groups around the world—Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America—both within and outside of the Church. Her passion is helping leaders and congregations increase their intercultural competencies toward growing the reign of God on earth.
