Each year at Sun Prairie United Methodist Church we present Bibles to our third grade students. The Bibles are the Common English Bible version which is aimed at children in this age group. We encourage your child to bring his or her Bible to church school (I hear they might get a special sticker) and/or Circuit. We hope it will help them learn more about the word of God.

This year’s third graders will receive their Bibles on Sunday, September 17th at either our 8:30am or our 10:45am worship service.  Children will be invited to the front of our worship space to receive their Bible by name. Once everyone is up front, we will read together a passage marked in each child’s Bible from the book of Luke. The passage we will read is Luke 18:16.
