ANNUAL CONFERENCE
We gather for our Wisconsin Annual Conference each year to make decisions for the Conference and for the life of the church. We also gather to ordain and commission clergy into ministry, celebrate clergy retirements and remember the lives of those who have died since our last gathering of the Annual Conference.
Pastor Jenny and Pastor Claire will attend the Annual Conference with our lay members, Marcia Flaherty and Jack Malone. The Annual Conference will meet at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay, June 7-10.
We will have the blessing of sharing in Pastor Claire’s ordination as an Elder this year. Yaba Lucie Anongba, who was our seminary intern at SPUMC a couple of years ago will be commissioned as a Provisional Elder at this Annual Conference. We will also celebrate the ministry of Bishop Jung, who will be leaving as our Wisconsin Bishop after serving 12 years, which is the maximum a Bishop may serve in one area.
