Pastor Jenny is an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church, serving as the Lead Pastor at SPUMC. She was appointed by Bishop Hee-Soo Jung to Sun Prairie in July, 2015, after serving Onalaska UMC for eight years and River Falls UMC for eight years. Jenny currently serves the Wisconsin Conference as the Conference Personnel Chair and is a clergy delegate to the General and Jurisdictional Conferences. She previously served on the Bishop's Task Force, Board of Ordained Ministry, Chair of the District Superintendency Committee and Chair of the Board of Higher Education and Student Ministries. Jenny was in athletic administration, teaching and coaching at UW-Eau Claire before being called to the ordained ministry. She is originally from Madison, WI.
One of Pastor Jenny’s favorite bible verses is Psalm 27:1-2, 13-14, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”
