Please understand that we can NOT take donations before our next designated drop off day, as we have no room to store them. Items need to be clean and in good working order.

Donations should be taken to Door #2.

Children’s and kids’ clothes welcome, as well as MANY other items. Unfortunately, there are several items that we CANNOT ACCEPT.  In some cases, we are bound by state and/or federal safety regulations.  We also cannot take items we cannot donate if not sold.  Please DO NOT donate things that are Broken, Missing Pieces, or Not Working.   

Unfortunately, we can NOT take the following items:

 

NO APPLIANCES (large)

 

 BABY ITEMS:

NO Infant Car Seats, strollers, walkers

NO Cribs & Mattresses

 

BOOKS/MAGAZINES:

NO library books, encyclopedias, large collections of older magazines

 

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT:

NO laptops, CPU’s or CRT monitors

 

ELECTRONICS:

NO Televisions of any kind

 

NO Fitness Equipment

 

FURNITURE

NO Sleeper Sofas, dual recliners or hide-a-beds

NO Beds: hospital, trundle, platform, hide-away, hutch-style

NO Box springs or mattresses

NO Entertainment Centers

NO File Cabinets

NO heavy, large furniture

NOTHING flimsy made of particle board

 

LAWN & GARDEN:

NO Gas-powered accessories (string trimmers etc.)

NO Glass-top patio tables larger than 4 seaters

 

MISCELLANEOUS

NO Mirrors w/o frames

NO pianos, organs

NO Chemicals

NO Fire extinguishers

NO Gas cans, oil tanks

NO Guns

NO Medical supplies

NO Propane tanks

NO Tires or tire rims

NO Paint, light bulbs, batteries

NO Copy or fax Machines

NO Printers or scanners

NO Skis: water or snow, ping pong, foozball

In 2023 we donated our proceeds to Shelter from the Storm, Sunshine Place, Hands for Harvest, Neighborhood Navigators, SPPD/Shop with a Cop, SPARC Local Action, Sun Prairie Public Safety Chaplains, Habitat for Humanity, Sun Prairie Jazz, Sun Prairie Wellness Coalition, DAIS, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Colonial Club and various SPUMC ministries

 

If you are a community organization that would like to apply for a grant, please use our external grant application.

If you are a group within our church, please apply for a grant using our internal application.

Grants will be awarded up to $1500.

Applications are due by May 2nd, 2024.
