Spiritually Navigating Mental Health with Families
We are aware that today, more than ever, there are concerns about mental health issues, not only to our immediate faith community but to the larger community. With this realization, SPUMC is in a discernment process to determine how we can best serve these challenges from a spiritual perspective. While there has been a lot of conversation about how to do this, we realize we need to hear from you about the best way to proceed. We’ve created a short survey, seeking input. Our initial idea was to support parents, but we’d like to hear your views on this. We may eventually broaden our focus, depending on what is needed.
We are planning an event focused on mental health. We have a limited amount of time for this event so we want to make the best use of our time together to help provide the support and information that YOU need.
Your input is vital to this effort. This survey information will come to us confidentially. However, there is a place to leave contact information if you choose to either be notified of our future mental health events or if you’d like a staff person to contact you.
As we learn more about the needs of our community, we are hoping to post up to date information and resources on this page along with helping you find ways to connect through events and small groups.
Thank you for helping us out!
