Join us Thursday, January 10th at 12:00 pm in the church library for our book review and luncheon. Cost is just $5.00 and includes soup and a sandwich.
This month Frank Gaylord will review “Why Religion ? A Personal Story” by Elaine Pagels. Why is religion still around in the twenty-first century? Why do so many still believe? And how do various traditions still shape the way people experience everything from sexuality to politics, whether they are religious or not? In Why Religion? Elaine Pagels looks to her own life to help address these questions.
Please RSVP to the church office by January 9th and let us know of any dietary restrictions you have.
