Coming on November 18 SPUMC’s first Chili Cook-Off and panel presentation: Planning with Purpose!
On Sunday, November 18, after worship at noon, the Stewardship Committee will be hosting a Chili Cook-Off. Pull out your favorite recipe. Make a crock pot of chili or bring a desert to share. We will make corn bread and honey butter to accompany the chili. A gift card will be presented to the cook whose chili gets the most votes! Please notify the church office, firstname.lastname@example.org by November 12th if you plan to bring a crock pot of your favorite chili.
The Planning with Purpose panel will provide an opportunity to learn about many topics around planning for the future. There will be representatives from the following businesses: pharmacists who do medication reviews, elder law attorneys, funeral planning, legacy gifts, financial planning, and planning end of life decisions. It will be a great time to learn about local professionals who can assist you to make decisions as you plan your future.
Come join us! Bring a friend. Show off your culinary skills! Challenge your taste buds. Expand your minds!
We look forward to seeing you.
